This policy explains what information we collect when you use www.alcobreath.in, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
2. Information we collect
We only collect information you choose to give us. Specifically:
- Enquiry & quote forms. When you submit an enquiry or request a quote, the form opens WhatsApp with your message pre-filled (name, phone, company, state, product interest and any message you type). We do not store this on our servers — it is delivered to our sales team through WhatsApp when you press send.
- Aria chat assistant. When you chat with Aria, the messages you type, an anonymous session ID generated in your browser, and a lead reference are sent to our chat-processing service so Aria can recommend a device and, if you ask, prepare a quote. If you share contact details (name, phone, email, requirements) Aria stores them as a sales lead so our team can follow up.
- Direct contact. If you call, email or WhatsApp us directly, we keep the details you provide to respond and to fulfil any order.
- Usage analytics. We use privacy-friendly analytics (Vercel Analytics) to understand which pages are visited and how the site performs. This is aggregated and does not use cookies to track you across other websites.
We do not run advertising trackers, sell your data, or build cross-site profiles of you.
3. How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiry and recommend the right device.
- To prepare and send quotations and process orders.
- To provide after-sales support, calibration guidance and warranty service.
- To improve the website’s content, speed and reliability.
- To comply with our legal and tax obligations in India.
We rely on your consent (when you submit a form or start a chat) and our legitimate interest in responding to sales enquiries as the legal bases for this processing.
4. Third-party services
To run the site and respond to you, your information may be processed by the following providers, each under their own privacy terms:
- WhatsApp / Meta — delivers enquiry messages you send through the forms.
- Our chat-processing service — powers the Aria assistant and stores leads you create. Your messages reach it through our own servers; we do not expose its address publicly.
- Vercel — hosts the website and provides aggregate analytics.
- Google Maps — embedded on our contact page to show our office location.
We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
5. Cookies & local storage
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. The site stores a few small values in your browser’s local storage to function — your light/dark theme preference and an anonymous Aria chat session ID. You can clear these at any time from your browser settings; the chat’s “new conversation” button also clears its stored IDs.
6. How long we keep your data
We keep enquiry and lead information only as long as needed to serve you and to meet legal or accounting requirements, after which it is deleted or anonymised. You can ask us to delete your details sooner (see section 8).
7. How we protect your data
The site is served over HTTPS, and requests to our chat service are proxied through our own servers so its address is never exposed to your browser. We apply standard security headers and limit access to lead data to staff who need it. No method of transmission over the internet is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect the information you share.
8. Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you. Email alcobreath.in@gmail.comand we will action your request within a reasonable time, in line with India’s applicable data protection law.
9. Children
Our products and this website are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services change. The “last updated” date at the top reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be posted on this page.
